Happy New Year!

Geography Project - Coastline

We have spent the first two days of the year on our first project on the year Coastline. The children have recapped the countries of the United Kingdom and discussed that it is an island. This means we have a lot of coastline. We will be learning about erosion and creating houses to wash away.

The half term our theme for RSHE is Dreams & GoalsDifference. In RSHE lessons we follow the Jigsaw Charter and use our Jigsaw pieces and Jerri cat to help with discussions. We will be thinking about things we have achieved, how this makes us feel and the steps we need to take to achieve goals.

RE

RE this half term we will be focusing on Christianity and the question 'Was it always easy for Jesus to show friendship?' We are learning to identify when it is easy and difficult to show friendship and to explore when Jesus may have found it difficult.
