Sports week

This week is our sports week and the children have had a visit from North Walsham Rugby Club. They learnt all about passing, throwing, receiving and running into space. The children will be taking part in Athletics sessions with Callum from LB Coaching, who runs all our after-school sports clubs. 

Alongside these sports events, we have practised for our school sports day and taken part in a range of sports challenges such as javelin, sprinting, trim trail and hurdles. We recorded the data for our throws and speed for our running and used this information to create a table. As part of our computing project we considered how this information was used.

 

Sports Day

Please join us for our annual Sports Day tomorrow on the top field. Fingers crossed the weather is kind to us! 

 

The last day of term is next Friday 19th July and we finish at our usual time of 3pm.
