This week...
we are focusing all our efforts on the nativity! We have started rehearsals for Noisy Nativity and we are continuing to practise the songs which you've probably heard at home! We supply all the costumes for the nativity so you don't have to worry. We will be doing costume fitting this week which the children are very excited about! The children have listened to the Nativity story too so they understand what the play is about.
In Phonics Reception are learning x, ch, sh, t and qu. The Year 1s are learning about alternatives for the short vowels.
In Talk Through Stories words this week are mischief, roared, terrible, staring, tumbled, lonely and blinking. The children are trying to use these words as part of their every day talk.
In maths we are looking at making equal groups and sharing fairly.
We are revisiting the NSPCC Pants resources where the children will continue to learn about what's inside your pants is private.
We are continuing to hear readers so please make sure you continue to read with your child a little each day. We are continuing with story scribes and playing inside and out.
Don't forget Friday is optional wear a different jumper or cardigan day and bring a tombola prize as payment.
Have a good week!
