Christmas at BMPS!
What a busy final week we have had at BMPS, celebrating Christmas in true Burnham style, a fitting end to a great term!
What a magical week we have had in school. The beginning of the week was all about our Christmas production, The Angel That Nearly Missed It All. It has been 3 years since we have put on a performance for a live audience, so it was fantastic to welcome families into school. The children worked incredibly hard over a relatively short period of time to master their lines and learn the songs, well done to all those involved, it was a great production with wonderful costumes.
On Wednesday, Mrs Morrell organised a day of Christmas themed PE! The children were entertained with snowman races, sleigh rides and a snowball challenge, lots of fun was had by all and there were even some little rewards for each class!
Mrs Fullwood and Miss Brooks cooked a scrumptious Christmas lunch on Thursday, enjoyed by staff and pupils, it’s always such a lovely occasion when we all sit and eat together. All classes had their Christmas parties on Thursday afternoon too and there was even a visit by the main man himself, Father Christmas along with his elf Fitzpatrick!!!!
We rounded off the week welcoming families back into school for our Christingle service. Reverend Ali conducted a wonderfully engaging service, it was lovely to see each class performing a song or poem, alongside traditional Chrstingle Hymns and stories. Thank you to Revered Ali and all those that joined us for such a special morning, a great way to finish the week and term.
Happy Christmas to you all and we look forward to welcoming you back on Wednesday 4th January 2023.
