Generous donations help to kick-start the festive season and provide a new trim trail!
As a school we are incredibly lucky to have wonderful support from our local community, enabling us as a school to buy additional resources and to fund trips and treats in school. Our festive season kicked off slightly early this year with an entertaining panto for the whole school, oh no it didn't.....oh yes it is! We have also been incredibly fortunate to have been given the funds to build a new trim trail next to our existing outdoor play equipment.
The Harold Moorhouse Trust have kindly donated £1500 to school to fund an M&M production of A Christmas Carol and to purchase a new fridge, freezer and some additional sensory equipment for the Rosalie room. The whole school enjoyed the performance of A Christmas Carol, there was a lot of laughter, especially when Mrs Newport and Mrs Collins were summoned to the stage to perform with the cast!! Such a lovely way to kick-start the festive period.
After a successful craft fair in Burnham Market, the Craft Fair Committee were delighted to be able to gift £2000 towards the building of a new trim trail on the school field, next to the existing play equipment. The Lord Nelson pub in Burnham Thorpe ran a quiz night for us which raised £75 towards the trim trail and with a little bit of PE & School Sport Premium funding, there is now enough money to start the build....watch this space!
