Lights, Camera, Action! Year 5 & 6 Take Over Fakenham Cinema!
What an AMAZING night! On Tuesday, Burnham Market took over the Central Cinema in Fakenham for the world premiere of S.I. Superficial Intelligence—and what a huge success it was! Over two screenings (we had to run a second one because the first was over capacity!), an incredible 150 people watched the film on the big screen.
With a red carpet, photographer, and all the stars and filmmakers out in force, Fakenham truly felt like a global premiere—or even a night at the Oscars!
The film itself, created by our super-talented Year 5 and 6 students, wowed the audience with its brilliant story, acting, and special effects. So many people commented on how professional and high quality it was—some even suggested that Fakenham Cinema should start screening it before full-length movies!
After the premiere, some of our young filmmakers took to the stage for a Q&A session, answering questions with confidence and showing just how much hard work went into the production. They impressed everyone with their creativity and knowledge!
And guess what? The journey isn’t over! S.I. Superficial Intelligence is now heading off to film festivals and competitions across the country. Who knows where it might go next? Maybe we’ll see some of our students on the big screen one day!
A huge thank you to Active Fakenham for making this incredible event possible. This is just the beginning—who knows what amazing things our young filmmakers will create next?
