Maths
Mrs Foster is teaching the children maths this week. We know that they are able to recognise coins and notes so they week they will be counting in pence, pounds, pence and pounds and finding different coins to make amounts. The best way for children to become familiar with money is to be able to play with real coins. If you have a pot of change at home you can roll a dice, count out that many 1ps, when you have 2, 5 or 10 you can exchange them. After a few turns the winner can be either the person with the fewest coins or the person with the greatest value of coins. There are also some interactive games they can play...
