How Hill trip, fact files and open mornings
We are very excited for our trip to How Hill on Wednesday 6th July. The coach is leaving just after 9am, so please make sure your child is in school in plenty of time.
Don't forget that children will need...
- School t shirt and leggings or trousers (we will be in the woods and going on a nature walk so there is a risk of insect bites and nettle stings)
- Trainers (we are doing lots of walking in the woods)
- School jumper or cardigan (to cover arms in woods)
- Waterproof coat (we will be doing activities outside whatever the weather)
- Sun cream (we will be doing activities outside whatever the weather)
- Home packed lunch, unless you ordered a school one
- Water bottle
- Bring everything in a rucksack (we can store all our bags and lunch in the education building for the day, so we will not have to carry it all around!)
- If they are needed we will take the children’s sun hats from school AND/OR the children’s wellies!
This week we have our opening mornings where you are welcome to come into the classroom and have a look at the work your children have been doing this year. We will 'open' the doors as soon as the children are registered in.
This week the children are busy writing fact files all about themselves. They will be using subheadings, facts and pictures to share some fun and interesting facts about themselves.
Next week is sports week and we ask that children come to school in PE kit every day and on Friday wearing a T-shirt in their team colours. An email will be sent out with more details about sports day and sports week.
