We have all survived the first week back at school! We are so proud of how well the children are settling back in. Of course there have been tears and a few ups and downs but overall everyone is glad to be back together and spending time with friends.

 

This week, and over the next few weeks before Easter, we are focusing on settling the children back in and learning school routines. This week the children have had lots of opportunities to talk and play which we feel is really important.

Each day we have been having an RSHE lesson and playing circle time games. 

Our maths lessons have been practical. In Mrs Ellis's class we have been recapping weight and made salt dough. In Mrs Prophet's children have been recapping length and creating rockets.

The children have been enjoying PE every day as well as daily phonics and stories. 

We have started on our David Hockney art project and will continue with this over the next couple of weeks. 

We know the children are exhausted so we wish you all a very restful weekend!
