Helping Children In Need
Wensum Trust schools have raised hundreds of pounds for Children In Need
Primary and Infant schools across the Wensum Trust raised a fantastic £1,095 for Children In Need last week.
Children, teachers and staff in eight of our schools all took part in events on Friday 18 November from cake sales, to a non-uniform day, or by dressing in something spotty.
The children at Firside Junior School and Kinsale Junior School in Norwich got an extra special treat with a visit from Pudsey Bear, whilst Willow the school dog at Wells Primary and Nursery School also got into the spirit of the day by wearing a spotty neckerchief.
Angie Hamilton, Primary Strategic Lead for the Wensum Trust, said: “The children across all our Primary and Infant schools have done an amazing job raising money for Children In Need. We appreciate these are challenging times for families but the fact that our school communities are coming together to raise funds for those less fortunate is something to be really proud of. Well done to everyone involved”
