Is Sport's Week!

The children have had a rugby session led by North Walsham Rugby Club. They have done multisports with LB Coaching. We have also been doing a sports treasure hunt all week where the children do different sports activities and when each one is completed, we reveal a letter that will crack the code at the end. The children have done javeline, long jump, stilt walking, activities on the trim trail and using the playground markings, golf, stepping stones and the traversing wall. We have also been practising races for sports day so that we are in tiptop condition for Friday! We were also meant to have a tennis session but that has been postponed until next week so that is something to look forward to.

The end of the week is sports day and we will hopefully avoid the rain and have a lovely end celebration to sports week. 

We hope to see as many of you staying for the family picnic on the field as this is always a lovely event. Don't forget your picnic! 

We will be giving out the holiday reading books on Monday so there is no need to bring in book bags after that - please make sure that you request books from your child's teacher if you would like holiday reading.  We will send spare clothes and wellies home on Thursday.
