Medium Level Support
All state funded schools can refer themselves to an English Hub for support to develop phonics and early reading.
Our team is available to help support your school in a number of ways:
- Recovery support, focused on early reading teaching and learning following the COVID-19 school closure period
- Targeted support, CPD events and workshops focusing on the programme's three aims: SSP, early language development and encouraging a love of reading
- Engagement events, which can include workshops and conferences, delivered alongside other providers (where appropriate), focused on any of the programmes three aims

Funding
Funding may be available to help your school develop their chosen SSP programme or to implement a new SSP programme. Support on how to set up a new SSP or to continue with your chosen programme can be available from trained literacy specialists.
Review
Reviews are a useful way for us to assess a school's existing provision and to offer guidance and support, in line with current research and Ofsted requirements.
Professional Development
