Squirrels Class Visit St Paul's Church

Squirrels class had a fantastic time visiting St Paul's Church for their annual Christmas visit.

Mrs Bailey tells us more about the visit . . .

Squirrels Class were fantastic at being safe whilst walking to the church, being very careful when crossing the roads and listening to the adults. When we arrived at the church, we learnt about the importance of candles in the church and watched Reverend Louise light the advent candle. We talked about our advent calendars and what is inside them. We then made wreaths and tree decorations at the craft tables. We shared some of our Nativity songs with the Reverend and her adult helpers to say thank you for having us.

Reverend Louise then told us about the importance and messages from the story of the first Christmas.

It was then time for us to walk back to school, What a brilliant trip! All of the squirrels made Mrs Bailey and the other adults very proud!
