We took our Year 2 children to London to watch, The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium, on Thursday 6th July. The children were brilliant and fantastic representatives of Heather Avenue. 

This is what some of the children said about our theatre visit; 

It was really good because the characters all found new friends and it was exciting to go to London. 

It was very fun and I liked it when the witch melted. I liked going on the coach to London as I like to travel.

It was exciting going to the theatre for the very first time and I like the wicked witch; her outfit was my favourite colour.

It was really good and I liked the singing and I especially liked how they moved Dorothy around the stage when it was the cyclone. 

I enjoyed seeing London when I was on the coach. I liked seeing the Tower of London
