We were excited to visit the heliport in our local area at Norwich Airport. We had found where the heliport is on the map of Hellesdon.

At the heliport we found out how helicopters work and met the engineers and mechanics who maintain the helicopter fleet.

We also saw a working electric aeroplane.

We listened to a talk about how the heliport stays safe taking xrays and what the equipment and clothes the crew where to keep them safe in an emergency. 

Back in class we used what we learnt to help our learning and create our own models of emergency vehicles,
