The school welcomed Year 11 students back today as they collected their results.

Principal Matt Hardman said: "We are really proud of the results this wonderful group of students have received today after many years of hard work and dedication. As a school, we have improved performance in every measure, but today is about celebrating the stories behind every individual set of results. We have students who have achieved a staggering number of Grades 7, 8 and 9, as well as students who have worked incredibly hard to achieve GCSE passes across the board. We are equally proud of all of these achievements and know that they will open doors for an exciting future ahead. Even more so, we are very proud of the people they have become, and the life skills, qualities and characteristics they are taking forward with them. Well done to a fantastic set of students and all the very best for the future"
