The air is buzzing with excitement at Arden Grove Infant and Nursery School as our curious little explorers discover the wonders of spring! The children have been busy outdoors, eagerly searching for signs of new life.

Tiny hands have been pointing out bright yellow daffodils popping up in the garden, and giggling as they watch insects buzzing around the outdoor area. Our budding naturalists have been listening carefully to the cheerful chirping of birds, building their understanding of the changing seasons.

The school pond has become a hub of fascination, too! Our curious learners have been watching with wide eyes as tiny tadpoles wiggle and swim, beginning their amazing transformation. We’ve been discussing how to be respectful of all living creatures, and how to gently observe without disturbing. It's wonderful to see the children show such empathy towards nature. Spring is truly a magical time at Arden Grove! 

In Reception we even made our own pretend frogspawn so we could play at being frogs and tadpoles.
