This year Heather Avenue Infant School will receive approximately £16,800. This money must be used to give value and provide maximum impact and benefit to our children in P.E provision and must be sustainable.

We have allocated our money in the following ways:

• Buying support from West Norfolk and Dereham Schools Sports Partnership to develop the role of Sports Leaders and the skills of the P.E Co-ordinator.  The Partnership also provided information regarding national and local initiatives.
• Buying in the services of a coach from North Walsham Rugby club to deliver tag rugby training to staff and pupils.
• Employing an Apprentice Teaching Assistant to support pupils during EYFS outdoor provision and support all pupils at playtimes.
• Training pupils to become Sports Leaders who are able to run activities during playtimes.
• Providing opportunities for children to experience new sports and acquire basic skills in those sports.
