Safeguarding
At Acle Academy we recognise that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility; all staff, governors and volunteers know that keeping children safe is intrinsic to our role. We believe that our school should provide a safe, caring and positive environment that promotes the social, spiritual, moral and physical development of all students.
We nurture a culture where students feel safe to talk openly about anything that is worrying them and feel confident that they will be listened to. In all aspects of our safeguarding practice, we focus on a child centred approach, ensuring that their voice is heard sensitively and without judgement.
We recognise that children are unique and varied individuals and work with parents, carers and external supporting agencies to fulfil our duty to safeguard the welfare of all students.
