RSC Playmaking Festival
On Friday 12th July, our ten Royal Shakespeare Ambassador students went to Norwich Playhouse to perform their version of Macbeth that they had been working on for a couple of months as part of the RSC’s Playmaking Festival.
Students have been working with Mrs. Barber, Mr. Frost and Sophie (RSC Associate Director) on an abridged version of Shakespeare’s famous Scottish Play for a couple of months, and were responsible for two sections of the play, with other schools responsible for the rest of the play.
The performance was a wonderful culmination of all the students’ efforts, and it was a truly fantastic show. Our students looked extremely confident and performed to the best of their ability in front of a live, paying audience. We are extremely proud of their achievements, and are already looking forward to next year’s Playmaking Festival!
