The children performed two songs, Love Shine a Light by Katrina and the Waves and Blackbird by the Beatles. The adjudicator, Lin Marsh, loved their singing and awarded them the highest award of ‘Outstanding’! She said that they were a ‘very good ensemble’ and had some ‘lovely dynamic changes’. She was also impressed by their excellent focus and the neat endings to their words when singing because they watched our conductor, Mrs Spears, so well.

The children enjoyed listening to the other schools’ performances and sat so respectfully whilst they were listening. They were thrilled to have done so well and to be able to show off their wonderful singing in front of their very proud parents and families. Well done, everyone!
