Year One enjoyed a wonderful trip to Gressenhall for a fairytales-themed day.  They met the curator in charge of the museum, who informed them that, unfortunately, some precious artefacts had been stolen from the museum by the witch because she hadn’t been invited to a special party. Year 1 had to solve various  puzzles and riddles and find the missing objects – the golden egg, Little Red Riding Hood’s cape, a mirror and Cinderella’s glass slipper - to put back in the museum before the end of the day.

As well as hunting for objects, the children also had to do lots of jobs for Cinderella's ugly sister, scrubbing tables, finding smelly socks, painting the house, digging up potatoes, washing the clothes, milking the cows, and making a magic potion for the witch!

What a busy day!
