The game started at a fast pace with both teams looking to get the ball down and play. After a couple of near misses, Hellesdon took the lead through Oli B arriving at the back post after some great work from Alex S. This though seemed to spur Jane Austen on to up their game as they
scored 3 goals without reply to leave the score 3-1 at half time.
Hellesdon tried to start the second half positively but two further goals left them facing an uphill challenge. The lads never gave up and were unlucky to not reduce the gap in the final 10 minutes but the game ultimately finished 5-1 to Jane Austen.
