Move And Improve and Jo Hill have organised a community 5k FUN RUN /WALK on Sunday April 14th for SADS UK
The cardiac charity SADS UK aims to save lives, providing information, funding research and medical equipment to prevent premature sudden cardiac death. Working in the areas of Research, Prevention and Emergency Care.
Unfortunately Jo lost her beloved husband (a former HHS pupil) to a cardiac arrest. Ian was fit and healthy, he was a paramedic but sadly died from sudden arrhythmic death syndrome (SADS), a condition in which a person suffers an unexpected cardiac arrest with no obvious cause. Ian was only his 30’s.
Jo keeps his memory alive by constantly arranging charity events to raise awareness and money to help towards research, medical equipment, training days, and the many defibrillators which Jo has kindly donated to local companies and Hellesdon High School.
Please help us by spreading the word and telling your friends and family.
Come wearing your best NEON attire, leotards, netty skirts, leg warmers, head bands!!! Let’s light up Hellesdon and make people smile
