Future Scientists in Action

Year 10 Triple Science Students Take on Biotechnology!
Our ambitious Year 10 Triple Science students are pushing the boundaries of their GCSE studies by tackling an A-level difficulty practical! As part of their exploration into the Roles of Biotechnology, they’re diving deep into enzyme technology—learning how immobilised enzymes are used to produce lactose-free milk.
Through hands-on experimentation, they’re not just learning the theory; they’re applying cutting-edge scientific techniques used in real-world industries. This challenging practical develops problem-solving, analytical thinking, and lab skills, giving our students a taste of the exciting possibilities in biotechnology.
