Hellesdon made a shaky start and were behind early on after a lack of communication in the back four. However, Hellesdon responded well and were finally rewarded after good build up play from Matty L, which set Max W up to fire in a fine equaliser. Unfortunately, they were not level for long as Sprowston scored again just before half time to put them 2-1 up at the break.

Into the second half and Hellesdon continued to create good chances but were unable to finish them off. They were subsequently made to pay as Sprowston added two further goals to run out 4-1 winners.

Despite the defeat, it was great to see the enthusiasm of the lads to reform the 6^th Form team this year and hopefully this is the first game of many for the team.
