Home Learning
Well done to everyone who managed to log on to Google Classroom to complete their online Home Learning. As with any new system, of course there might be a few teething problems but on the whole, people seem to be finding it relatively easy to navigate and to complete their Home Learning. As a staff team, we are also new to Google Classroom so please be patient if we are not sure how to answer your question about it! We do believe however, that Google Classroom is a good long term solution for assigning work to the children whilst we are closed and this is reflected in schools across the country.
For those of you that have managed to get on, you will notice that there is a feature where children can privately message their teachers. Today, lots of children and parents have successfully used this feature to ask their teachers questions about the work set. The teachers are on standby throughout the school day to support the children so please do ask for help if you need it.
If you are struggling to get on in the first place, please see the below guide and / or contact your child's Head of Year if needed. The email addresses of the Heads of Year went out in an app message earlier today.
Thank you for your support.
