Friends of Firside school committee will be selling ice pops on the playground after school tomorrow (Tuesday). Come and cool off with a refreshing after school treat.

Hot, hot, hot!! It's set to be very warm this week. Please make sure sure your child is equipped with sun cream, a hat and water bottle (all named). If your child would be more comfortable in PE kit then they can wear this any day this week (this includes the Year 4 trip on Wednesday). We will be making adaptations to plans for outdoor activities such as lunchtimes and PE / games lessons on very hot days to try to keep everyone as cool as possible.

**SLT ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE – ARE YOU READY?** To raise money for Friends of Firside school committee , we're holding a special SLT Ice Bucket Challenge fundraiser! Raffle tickets are just 20p each The winning ticket holders will get the chance to pour a bucket of icy water over their chosen member of SLT! The challenge will take place during the school day on the last day of term. Every penny raised goes directly to Friends of Firside. The more tickets you buy, the greater your chance of winning this unforgettable prize! Who will get drenched? That's up to you! Raffle tickets will be available to buy every day on the playground after school from Monday 22nd June - support a great cause, and help make a splash at Firside!

Our Year 6 Active Leaders enjoyed a very hot visit to Heather Avenue Infant School to lead games and activities over lunchtime today. They loved visiting and having the opportunity to lead these activities with the younger children there. #DREAM
