Girl Guides and Girl Scouts have been marking this special day since 1926. It is a celebration of ten million girls worldwide that takes place on every 22nd February.

Across the Girl Guiding Mile Cross district there are almost 160 girls involved in the movement.

I would like to invite all pupils who are members of the Girl Guiding and Girl Scout movement to either wear their guiding uniform to school tomorrow or proudly wear their promise badge on their normal school uniform, as part of their Thinking Day celebrations.
